Turn devices on a plan into material and labour costs and a clear PDF quotation in EH Designer.
Prepared by EnergyHouse · Updated: 19 October 2026
The quotation should match the scope agreed on the floor plan. Before generating the document, check that the estimate includes materials, cables and required work. A total covering devices alone may not represent the full installation scope.

Set labour rates, discounts and VAT for the quotation. Choose whether the client should see individual items or section totals. After generating the document, compare totals with the estimate and check the included pages. Save the project version corresponding to the quotation sent, so later changes can be discussed unambiguously.
The estimate depends on selected scopes, line items, quantities, rates and discounts.
Deselecting a scope excludes it from the estimate and quote without deleting its devices.
You can add a service without creating a catalogue product.
You can adjust the document scope before generating it.
Project stages are part of the quote settings.
Percentages apply to the quote’s gross total.
